LIFE AFTER HOCKEY PODCAST - EPISODE 1 - COREY HIRSCH
Corey Hirsch was born in Medicine Hat, AB. He played junior hockey with the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL. He was drafted by the New York Rangers #169 overall 1991 NHL Entry Draft. He went on to have a 13 year professional career, playing for the New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks & Dallas Stars. He also won Silver a Medal with Team Canada at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer & was part of the 1994 New York Rangers Stanley Cup Championship Team.
Since retiring from hockey Corey has been involved with various teams as a goalie coach, as well as working as an NHL broadcaster.
Corey is also a Public Speaker and Advocate for Mental Health & Wellness, dedicated to ending the stigma of mental health.
