24/25 FPL Season Preview Part 2 - The FPL Lounge Long Weekend: Defenders

Welcome back to the FPL Lounge! Join Andy & Chris for their series of season preview podcasts, the FPL Lounge Long Weekend. In this second of four episodes ahead of the 2024/25 season, they analyse the Defenders to strongly consider ahead of GW1.

As with the all the Long Weekend episodes, the pod is split into three price categories, with the lads assessing the merits of premium assets, middle-ground assets and budget enablers. In this defenders episode, they look at Arsenal's defensive price increases, whether some of the £5.0m assets are worth their attacking upside compared to their cheaper teammates, and they try to unearth some £4.0m budget gems.
