Lisa La Nasa is a mom of two, wife, adventurer, coffee fanatic, and founder and CEO of diaVerge Diabetes. Lisa founded diaVerge Diabetes in 2015 after her own personal discovery of the empowerment and complete lifestyle transformation that can come from gaining better control of type 1 diabetes.

Lisa has successfully been maintaining A1c levels <5.5% since January 2015, a dramatic health transformation that lead to a reduction of over 3% (from 7.8% A1c to 4.4% ) after only 4 months.

Encouraged by her husband to write about her incredible health improvements, diaVerge was ‘born’ while Lisa was living in the middle of Argentina, after 13 years of daily struggle with T1D. Lisa holds a Diabetes Paraprofessional Level II certificate through ADCES and Diabetes Educator Certificate through IDF.

Along with her extraordinary team of Allison Herschede, RN, CDCES, Carol Paiva, RN, Lucía Feito Allonca, and Kory Seder, all impacted by T1D personally, diaVerge brings everything they have learned from optimizing their own health, and by teaching their clients around the world how to better manage blood sugar levels and reduce the burden of diabetes.
