The dog days of summer are setting in around the NHL, however, news came out of the Canucks camp as the team announced that former assistant general manager Derek Clancey is leaving the organization to take a job with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team also announced the signing of Nils Höglander to a two-year contract extension. JPat and Wadden breakdown the Höglander signing, while also discussing Clancey's surprising departure.
