The Domestic Abuse and Civil Proceedings Act (Northern Ireland) 2021 (the Act) recognises and criminalises courses of abusive conduct, encompassing behaviours recurring on multiple occasions against intimate partners, former partners, or family members.  In this episode, CJI discusses the Act with guests from the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Women's Aid, the Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland and the Department of Justice.
