Going Off Track is a weekly, interview show hosted by Benny Horowitz (The Gaslight Anthem) and producer Brad Worrell.
The show was created in 2012 by Jonah Bayer, Steven Smith and Brad, when Steven (then a FuseTV host with Jonah his writer), realized that all the interesting conversations with guests were happening while the lights were being setup. Once cameras started rolling it was all about PR and record-label priorities. Prior to that they'd discuss skateboarding, cooking or just about anything else of interest to the artist.
So was born the casual, "living room conversation" dynamic of Offtrack who's guest list leans towards the musical but with plenty of comedians, actors and generally interesting folks thrown in.

Going Off Track invites remarkable performers to interviews without agendas. The resulting conversations make inspirational people relatable. Podcast hosts Brad Worrell and Benny Horowitz are musicians who enjoy talking to their peers. Guests include legends and newer musicians from Nikki Sixx to Jack Antonoff. They also invite creatives like Nikki Glaser and Vanessa Bayer to chat.
Podcast host Worrell is a punk rock guitarist and songwriter for The Goops. He produces music through his label Soundwag. Worrell also cohosts Gold Minds. Horowitz is a drummer for The Gaslight Anthem. He has also drummed for Antarctigo Vespucci, Town Liar, and Mercy Union. Horowitz writes for outlets including Rolling Stone.
The Going Off Track podcast features professional skateboarder Steve Caballero. The icon revolutionized skateboarding with vertical tricks and record heights. Caballero still performs his tricks 40 years later. The hosts ask him about his accomplishments and lesser-known details of his life. Caballero is a musician, artist, hot rodder, and motocross rider. He played in a band of skateboarders called The Faction and now plays in Urethane.
Caballero reveals the complications of marriage with his travel-heavy career. Women become attracted to his lifestyle but resent it once they're married. Fatherhood also has challenges, but Caballero loves it. He says he'd have more kids if he remarried.
Yankees commentator Jack Curry visits the podcast. Music is Curry's second passion. He names musicians he would book at Yankee Stadium. Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam top his list for their baseball fandom.
Curry tells an endearing story about his mother, who had the nickname "Chief." He conducted a landline interview with Yankees owner George Steinbrenner at his mom's house. The call went on very long. Curry's mom got on another receiver and asked, "Doesn't anyone understand there's a dinner hour around here?" Curry explains in detail how that awkward moment helped his career.
Worrell, Steven Smith, and Jonah Bayer cohost early episodes of Going Off Track. Horowitz now helms the show with Worrell. The duo and their guests are a captivating combination.
