Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz appeared before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions committee on March 29, 2023. The  title of the hearing, “No Company is Above the Law:  The Need to End Illegal Union Busting at Starbucks," hinted at the fireworks that would ensue when Schultz was questioned by the committee's always-acerbic chairman, Senator Bernie Sanders.

Gen. Mark Milley testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee on March 28, 2023 and spoke about the infamous photo-op President Trump staged on June 1, 2020 in Lafayette Park near the White House in Washington D.C. The image of Milley, in uniform, with Trump and members of his administration "is out there," he said. "it's all over the place and that did a lot of damage for the military for which I will always regret."
