The 2023/24 Serie A title was secured by Inter on Matchday 33 courtesy of a 2-1 win against AC Milan, with the Rossoneri being the 'home' team and three players receiving straight red cards in the dying stages.
The Nerazzurri were 2-0 up and cruising before Fikayo Tomori headed Milan back into contention, but the final 10 minutes were more focused on fighting as Theo Hernandez, Davide Calabria and Denzel Dumfries were all sent off as tempers flared.
Earlier on Monday evening, Bologna took a huge step towards Champions League qualification as they won 3-1 away at AS Roma, meaning they have a seven-point lead over the Giallorossi having played a game more.
There was also relegation battle drama as Lecce won 3-0 at Sassuolo and Verona beat Udinese 1-0 with a stoppage-time winner.
