Today, Jennifer is joined by her good friend Melissa Ioja to talk about lifestyle fitness. As a professional bikini model and advocate for proper nutrition and fitness, Melissa has a zest for life that can’t be missed. She attributes this to a mindset that was instilled in her by her mother growing up. It’s a mindset that goes beyond just looking good for your age, it’s also about being around for your kids for as long as possible.
Melissa chooses to work out in the morning, as it sets her day up for success. She admits she lost sight of this for a short time at the beginning of the pandemic. She stopped working out as she let fear overtake her. That quickly came to an end when she remembered her children were watching, and she wanted to teach them that even when times get tough, we never stop taking care of ourselves.
