The Circle 5 Podcast

Mallury Patrick Pollard

A podcast dedicated to conversations with artists and creative professionals focusing on the topic of work, life and creative balance. Each episode is structured around my personal experience and opinion that there are 5 “circles of relationships” that exist in a creative or artistic life. How do each of them impact an artist’s daily life and career? [Feedback is welcome! It’s been a long time coming… My 2022 episodes are all finally published (oh my), but it was well worth the wait to share my conversation with Caitlin Kelly: my first guest that was an acquaintance that agreed to be on the ‘cast! I hope she’s now a friend for years to come. It was quite a treat and blessing to chat with her because she is a very accomplished professional/journalist/writer/writing coach/author… Just have a listen to hear all the great accolades she’s amassed, as well as her great insights about relationships as she shares stories both past and (relatively) present. They were present when we recorded of course :) Caitlin uses adult words in this convo. Just giving you a heads up if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing. But enjoy each and every “@#$!” because she was 100% herself, and it made the stories entertaining and impactful.  If you’d like to keep up with Caitlin and her work she’s on the web: and on Twitter: https://twitter.com/CaitlinKellyNYC.  Her Wordpress blog, Broadside can be found here:  https://broadsideblog.wordpress.com/ And check out her published Non-Fiction Books “Malled: My Unintentional Career in Retail” and “Blown Away: American Women and Guns” here: https://www.thriftbooks.com/browse/?b.search=Caitlin%20Kelly#b.s=mostPopular-desc&b.p=1&b.pp=30&b.oos&b.tile Caitlin's cause of mention was simply abortion rights, and overall women's rights. Stay informed and speak to women you know about what’s affecting them right now!
