Extending voting rights to include 16 year olds is an issue the ACT Greens have been committed to for years.

The evidence is clear that our young people are capable and responsible, and that they have a huge stake in the future that governments are creating today.

Other countries have made this important reform and the doomsayers have already been proven wrong.
