S1 Ep5 | Detroit, Engine of the Green New Deal

Generation Green New Deal

20-10-2020 • 33 min

Detroit is a microcosm of many of the issues the Green New Deal is trying to solve: it’s faced flooding and extreme weather and has suffered severe consequences of pollution, environmental racism, deindustrialization, and austerity. Featuring Detroit activist Theresa Landrum and former Detroit health commissioner Abdul El-Sayed
