I’m not gonna lie – I edited this speech. There it is. That’s the truth. I edited it because I called myself an “old lady” more than once in this talk. More than twice. That’s not going to fly! That is not kind to me; or true. So that’s that.

Continuing with our exploration of mentorship this month, I was asked to speak to inspire young women in aviation and I came away completely inspired by them. What I wanted them to take with them: 1) You are powerful and you know how to feel and be fully empowered; 2) You are valuable. And I AM talking about money so start asking for what you are worth; 3) You have options – lots of them; 4) The sky is not the limit – it’s just the beginning; and 5) You are right on time!
